REPORT FROM THE ORPHANAGE

Dear Beloved Dad, Mum, Church and friends,

Greetings from Kenya Churches and orphanage, we are praying for you each day, we are humbled for the regular help we receive from you all through pastor Donald, Vivian , church leaders and friends to the Kenya orphanage and church.

 

Thanks from the children and church leadership Kenya church. Thanks for your prayers which has made us reach this far. Surely without your help which God has moved in your heart and prayers, we could have not been able to care these children.

 

Some could have gone from us to streets because of our limited resources was not able to feed these

children. We appreciate every support we receive from you and also school fees and clothes, home for them and other necessities it could be the challenge.

 

We request   prayers for the work in Kenya as by your prayers God has allowed us to reach this far. Still we covet yours for the needs of these children under our care their needs be made. Yes we cannot say that we have met all the needs of the children as some days they sleep without taking food and they stay out of school for not having paid school fees, but all in this hardship and struggle God has used all with your resources to support once again receive the thanks from the leaders.

 

As we receive about the update of the reopening of schools we will update you all. We are still worshipping God with the children in the orphanage compound as we wait for the freedom of worship for all. We are meetings churches members in groups in houses. Thanks for the sermon teachings its helping us greatly keep posting them its maturing Kenya churches. You are all covered in our prayers.

 

One day in a week we take the kids to play in one of the school field keep praying for the football because the one they are using is worn out and has been teared (torn).

Beans 341.6 kgs. One Kg of beans =Ksh. 250 x 341. 6kgs =Ksh. 85,400.

Transport cost Ksh. 5,900.

We purchased food worthy Ksh. 385,900 daily consumption is =Ksh. 19600.

 

Total purchase of food Ksh. 385,900÷ daily consumption Ksh.19,600=20 days, food will last from Date 14 Friday August to Date 5 September Saturday.[1]

This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.

[1] Joel is calculating by using only the numbers of the 49 orphans, but there are actually more people eating the food 49 orphans. The staff and their children also eat, which I have said was acceptable, since the staff work is volunteer so that other than an occasional gift, they do not receive a wage. The actual total number of people eating the food is 59, bringing the daily food costs to $3.32/per person.
