NEWS OF THE LOG CHURCH KENYA

At our Log Church in Wisconsin since the easing of the lockdown, we have been meeting in the open air on the lawn in back of the church.

We are doing so mostly because it is much easier to provide a safe environment with the Covid restrictions. Last Sunday became pretty hot however, and of course if it is raining we will need to move indoors. If it is hot and muggy like they say will also be this weekend, we may also have our service inside.

According to what Pastor Joel has written to me, the churches in Kenya are not yet allowed to meet at all. I know that the brothers and sisters there are going through some very difficult days with the restrictions placed upon them.

Myself being a pastor who takes seriously his call from God for his people, I asked Pastor Joel to write a little report about how it is to try and minister to his people during these days.
****************************
Dear beloved Dad, Mum, Church and Friends,
Greetings  from Kenya family. Each day we praise God for you all, thanks to all once again for the prayers, physical, financial and spiritual help we receive from you.

Sure let us assure you that you are doing great work here and may God bless you all and provide for your needs also. We request your prayers for the food, school fees, and clothing and other needs.

In the this time of Corona virus the challenge we have is to minister to church which has most of its members no one employed and even has a phone. Because they do not have phones we cannot send teachings and now are forced to walk some miles to take printed teachings from Pastor Donald blog and some of the Bibles that we send to home churches.

We have also the challenge that as we take this spiritual food we also see that physical food is needed in these homes. We ask God to provide for their needs surely life here is full of challenges we request prayers.

Beloved we are challenged with church building. We planned to expand the church so that can obey the rule of social distance as we hope to have been allowed to gather publicly, but the church building is incomplete not even covered at the roof. Kindly pray for us to metal sheets for the church roof.

Now we are meeting with the children and some leaders outside the orphanage compound keep us in prayers.

Thanks for your love, the children send their love greetings to all have them in their hearts. God bless you all. May God protect and prosper you all, we request your prayers. Thanks God bless you all.
Yours Son Joel and Church leadership Log Church Kenya.
