HOW THE SCHOOL DAYS GO FOR THE ORPHANS

Although our schools in the US are soon to be on summer vacation, the schools in Kenya have just begun the second term of their school year. I asked pastor Joel to share a bit about how each day proceeds for the kids as they go to school.

This is the report that he sent:

Greetings from Kenya family, we are humbled to God for what is doing through your love. Really, we see God Himself as we receive the blessings and support from you. We are praying daily for the work of your hands. May God empower you and all look to you. May the blessings of cover you. We love you all.

Thank God for all who have been reading and helping financially for the work of Kenya. Receive thanksgiving from leaders and children under our care by the grace of God. It's with great honor we give you the daily report of the children.

The children of Log Orphanage are schooling in three schools, Rianyakwara Primary, Kimai primary and Matagaro Secondary school. The children have to wake up at 5am, then have 20 minutes of prayer and the word of God from the one selected by the leader to prepare for a sermon. They then go to the assembly for a 20 minute church service at 6:30 am. After, this, they prepare and walk to school for about 25-35 minutes.

By 8:30 normal class begins. At 12:45pm classes break for lunch. The children then walk back to the orphanage for lunch, and then back to school. Classes again begin at 2pm and continue until 4pm. They then have some games, clean the grounds, and by 5pm they arrive home to rest and for supper, waiting for next day.

Keep praying for this children to have school completed so we can have classes here. It's our prayers that we can have school project completed because in holidays we can turn classrooms to Bible training center for maturing the saints in the body of Christ. Also some of these children have the calling to pastoral duties.

We have the challenges as we care for the children, like now we have no food for the past 3days like now new have no food. Walking to and from school is challenging some can faint on the way.

School fees are also challenging. We request your prayers.. Pray for food, to clear school building debt for last step.

We give this reports to update you, our beloved family for prayer. Once again we want to thank all who have been helping this wok we request kindly do not stop even if life challenging too on your side. We pray God to strengthen you.

Numbers 23:19: God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?

Hebrews 6:10: God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. May God bless you all. We pray that God will send you to Kenya and eye witness for the work you are doing.

Welcome Kenya. Thank you. We call you blessed.

We wait until we have $4000-$5000 before we make the bank transfer to make each transfer more economical. Nothing is held back or diverted for any other purpose. Thanks!
