The photos below show the preparations for pouring the cement on the first story (in the US, we would call it the second story). The ground floor walls have been completed, the rebar for the columns and the forms are in place, and the bottom plywood for the cement with the bracing underneath is in place. All that is left now for this phase is to put in rebar and steel mesh for the cement floor and to mix and pour the cement.
The cost for these items is substantial. It would be best if we could have this done before the rains begin in earnest. The other costs of food and school of course continue. Please pray.
Here is the latest report from Pastor Joel:

Philippins 4:19- And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
We are humbled for prayers. Thanks, the work is in process. Keep praying and help as the lord will provide. Keep us in prayer as we do daily. Humbled for the work you are doing sure may God provide for you and bless the work of your hand. We trust God will provide for the work in Kenya. May God bless you all. Welcome Kenya.

We now need to pay a wire transfer fee with every payment, which amounts to $50 each time, but other than that, your donated money will be used only for purchasing food, clothing, schooling, and other necessities of living. We wait until we have $4000-$5000 before we make the bank transfer to make each transfer more economical. Nothing is held back or diverted for any other purpose. Thanks!
