REPORT FROM KISII - MARCH 7

The kids of the orphanage are nearing the end of the first school term of this year. It began in January and will conclude at the end of March. We are thankful that God has provided again for this term, and that the other needs of the children, such as food and shelter, have also been supplied. Near the end of this term, there has been a need for footwear, and we are thankful also that we have been able to purchase several pair of croc-like shoes for them to wear.

The building of our own school has been on hold for some time now. We simply do not have the funds to continue at this time. We trust that God will provide for this need in his time. Thanks to all who contribute and to all who pray for these needs.

As you can see in Pastor Joel’s letter below, we have four students who will be finishing their secondary education at the end of this year. I asked him what plans we can have for these four graduates. You can see his answer below:

We wait until we have $4000-$5000 before we make the bank transfer to make each transfer more economical. Nothing is held back or diverted for any other purpose. Thanks!
