HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM THE LOG CHURCHES AND ORPHANAGE, KISII, KENYA

It is a new year and a good time to review what God has done in the orphanage in 2021, and assess what is ahead in 2022. Since Vivian and I failed to make it to Kenya last year, I have asked Joel some pointed questions concerning the things that I had intended to speak with him about when I was there.

The first thing that I have asked is to send pictures and explanations about the school building that we are constructing on the orphanage grounds. I will post about that next week.

For this week, I include the letter sent by Pastor Joel for the New Year. Please read it below:

Dear Beloved Mummy, Daddy, Church and friends,

Greetings in the precious name of Jesus our lord and savior, we are humbled once again when we remember how great your help that you have donated for the children and Kenya church, which has brought hope to them.

We as the church and staff we are praying for your all who have taken your time and resources. We are praying and seeking God to provide and give you the desire of your heart. We have nothing as leaders from Kenya Church and Orphanage we cannot pay you, but we know God will provide and reward you all for the good work you are doing. May God remember you and those around you. We call you blessed.

Praise God beloved family our church is praying for you all each day. We thank God for the year 2021 and what God has done. We now have the following as facilities in Kenya church and orphanage.

We have church building for both main and branch Nyakembene.

Tanks which harvest water for orphanage and garden use.

We have a garden to help provide vegetables and skills to children.

We have been able to pay the entire school costs for last year.

We thank God for everything that now we have separated girls and boys from one building.

We thank God for the provision to make all this to be available for helping the children and orphanage workers.

We have 4 volunteers orphanage workers.

We thank God for school project that is on progress, we trust God will provide for it to continue. Thanks to all who donated food, school fees, Bibles, beds, mattresses and other necessities. Our prayers are with you all, kindly pray for the school fees, food, school uniforms and shoes and the continued of school project.

On Sunday as it was first Sunday of 2022. We gathered together with Nyakembene Church. We appreciate the help we received 2021 and we request your prayers for 2022.Thanks for trusting us with the resources you send to Kenya.

God word opening the year was Joel 2:25-27 and Ezekiel 12:21-23,28.

I will repay you for the years eaten by locusts— the swarming locust, the young locust, the destroying locust, and the devouring locust—My great army that I sent against you.

You will have plenty to eat, until you are satisfied.

You will praise the name of the LORD your God, who has worked wonders for you.

My people will never again be put to shame.

Then you will know that I am present in Israel and that I am the LORD your God, and there is no other.

My people will never again be put to shame.

Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel: ‘The days go by, and every vision fails’?

Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘I will put an end to this proverb, and in Israel they will no longer recite it.’

But say to them: ‘The days are at hand when every vision will be fulfilled.

Therefore tell them that this is what the Lord GOD says: ‘None of My words will be delayed any longer. The message I speak will be fulfilled, declares the Lord GOD.’ ”

Humbled to wish you blessed and prosperous happy new year 2022. Thanks. May God bless you all. We look for seeing you and hearing in the near coming year 2022. Thanks for your help we Lack word to speak or share. May God bless and protect you from any harm. Thanks.

Yours Son Joel and Church Leadership Log Church Kenya.
