LETTER FROM PASTOR JOEL

I am still working through the difficulties in getting the money sent to Kenya and I appreciate your continued prayers for this. I have now spoken to my bank about bank-to-bank wire transfers, and it seems like this should work. I have resisted this method before, since the cost for each transfer is $45, but if that is what is needed, that is what I will do.

 

For your information, none of your gift money will go for these wire charges. As always all of your money is used only for the direct needs of the orphans unless you indicate it for another of the needs of the church.

 

Below is the response from Pastor Joel concerning what we were able to send this week .

Dear Beloved Dad, Mum, Church and Friends,

 

Greetings from Log Church of Kenya and the orphanage caring 49 children. We want apologies to all who God provided and your help delayed to reach for the children. Be assured that we have received now your help you sent to faithful and honest man of God,

We are humbled to report that even us here as the church and orphanage staff we are using every coin sent for the purpose of sent to do. The world is not happy for the work you are doing of caring the children that is why it's trying to withhold the blessing from not reach the kids in time.

 

We have stayed 2 days without taking food. We are appreciating all who are doing the wonderful work you are doing of supporting school fees, food, cloths and other needs. We pray for you daily God to provide for you all and answer your needs also.

 

We humbled to remind you the daily food cost for one children. One child take one Ksh.400 (about $4.00) that's for breakfast, lunch and supper. We care 49 children plus workers, so 49 children take 49kids×Ksh.400 daily cost of one child=Ksh.19600 daily cost for 49 children.

 

Below is the Breakdown of Ksh.104,684 (what we were able to send this week) the withdraw cost is Ksh.1500,now we used Ksh.103,084.

 

Food purchased:

150kilogram of rice. One kg cost Ksh.166. (Ksh. 166x150kgs =Ksh.25,000).

 

Maize 200 Killogram - one kgs costs Ksh.200. It's one Kgs cost Ksh.200 x 200kgs=Ksh.40,000.

 

Cooking oil. One litre cost Ksh.250 and we bought 40 litres, now 40litres x Ksh.250=Ksh.10,000.

 

72 Killogram of Beans, one Kgs costs Ksh.250x72kgs=18,000.

 

Vegetables. One Killogram cost Ksh.126 x we ordered 80kgs =Ksh.10,084.

 

We will attach bank receipt and food in store tomorrow because my phone need to be reset as it not showing the last taken pictures.

 

We thank God for the provision we received yesterday. The food will last for Five days From Monday to Friday.
