To the best that we are able to do at this time, we continue with our vocational classes in tailoring, carpentry, and as you can see below, in our welding class. We are able to continue thanks to the gracious volunteering of the teachers. When we no longer had the funding to pay them, they volunteered their services. They did not want the students to forget what they had been taught.
The students in the welding class have advanced to the point that they have developed skills necessary to fabricate some items (such as the door in this video). They now can make these items on their own, without guidance from the teacher.
It is a true joy to see how these kids are enthusiastic in their work, all to the praise of God.
Concerning payment for the teachers, a few weeks ago
(February 7), I put a post on this blog about the tailoring class. We are very
thankful that we lately have been able to give that teacher some payment.
We praise God for what He is doing, and we know that He will
continue with these kids.
